Based out of our corporate office, the Accounts Receivable Representative will manage the accounts receivables for a portfolio of accounts, focusing on resolving outstanding issues and reducing the aged receivables.


  • Manage a portfolio of 1000 1500 active accounts.

  • Make a minimum of 40 outbound client calls daily.

  • Reduce the aged receivables for your portfolio.

  • Work with sales and clients on issues such as pricing discrepancies, claims issues, and client questions.

  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.

  • Assist team members with their portfolio as needed.

  • Determine accounts that are uncollectable, recommending they be placed with an outside collection agency.

  • Answer inbound calls daily and respond to A/R incoming emails

  • Process customers credit card and e-check payments


  • High School Diploma, some college preferred

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Great communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

  • Motivated by results

  • Collections experience preferred.

  • Hours of operation 8:00 5:00

Account Receivable Collections Analyst The Opportunity: As a member of the Greenleaf Foods finance team the Account Receivable Collections Analyst will play a key role in enabling efficient cash management, and by liaising with Sales and Marketing, safeguard Greenleaf capital against invalid deductions. . A snap shot of some of the exciting things you will do: * Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers. * Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries. * Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures. * Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department. * Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; and preparing aging report. * Adheres to company financial control practices, actively engaging in meeting stretch targets for receivable days and outstanding deductions. * Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities What we have to offer you: * Career development opportunities.
