The AR Deduction Specialist is responsible for acting as a liaison between Funko and its customers. The position will perform validity checks on deductions taken by customers & work with them to resolve deduction disputes. We are looking for a detailed oriented individual who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collection position.

What You'll Do

• Research and dispute Credit Card Chargebacks

• Submit LOC's (Letters of Credit) to banks

• Conduct payment research on customer payments

• Obtain payment remits from customers when remits are not originally provided

• Assist Deduction team on open customer claims

• Determines validity of each deduction and appropriate disposition

• Submit Credit Memo requests for valid deductions

• Effectively communicates outcomes and/or next steps to appropriate stakeholders

• Document processes

• Assist in special projects as needed

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years in Account Receivables

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or higher preferred

• Strong customer-focused attitude

• Basic knowledge of Accounting principles

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to function successfully in a high volume and fast paced environment

• Proven organizational and time management skills

• Proactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptly

• Knowledge of importing and wholesale distribution, preferably of consumer goods.

• Strong Excel skills

Salary Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $24.23 - $30.29 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
