Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst

Location: St Louis, MO

Position Summary:

• Weekly and monthly reports to management

• Accurately prepares, posts, verifies and records customer payments.

• Research and reconcile customer accounts including unapplied payments and misapplications.

• Records write-offs to the appropriate general ledger accounts.

• Monthly closing reviews and audits as assigned by Manager.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Effectively communicate with customers, internal and external, in a professional manner and through several mediums of communication.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to prioritize while working under tight time constraints.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, copier, and phone system.

• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team, in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and coworkers.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Understanding basic accounting principles including debit and credit entries.

• Ability to type 35 words per minute and complete 10 key by touch.

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
