College Degree Preferred
Preferred one (1) year of experience in accounts receivable or hotel operations.
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, basic office equipment, and 10-key by touch.
Working knowledge of general accounting principles, accounting practices, and theories.

Previous Knowledge and experience with financial systems (Lawson, LMS, Micros).
Previous experience with use of financial mainframe applications and familiarity with Microsoft Excel VBA or similar tools for use in database creation and automation.
Previous experience working in a similar casino resort or Financial Shared Services Center setting.
Understanding of Hotel/Banquet/F&B Operations; vision to foresee operational improvements available to serviced properties
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Hotel Management or equivalent.
ARS certification (Accredited Receivable Specialist).
Performs day to day activities related to daily hotel operations. This includes, but is not limited to: daily hotel and comp audits, OTA billing and commission reconciliation, Group Sales invoicing, responding to and tracking of chargebacks, balancing hotel ledgers, guest collections, journal entries, and customer assistance. Will also be asked to provide additional support to the department as requested, with the expected ability and desire to gain progressive knowledge of on-property operations as well as other accounting departments within shared services. Ideal position for a recent graduate seeking experience in the hotel/casino industry with an accounting perspective or a current front of house individual wishing to begin a transition to the accounting/finance side.
