Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with schools, departments, and the Town of Easton to ensure the timely payment of invoices

• Prepares accounts payable warrant for School Committee and Town signatures

• Approve district online orders

• Maintain complete and accurate tracking of payments made by the district

• Research and resolve payment-related issues

• Prepares accounts receivable turnover documents

• Performs all other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree preferred

• Previous A/P and accounting experience preferred

• Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel, Google Suite

• Detail oriented, with the ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Compensation:
Twelve month, non-union contract with regionally competitive benefits
