On-site, Full TimeSalary – $85,000, DOEJob Summary of the Accounts Payable Supervisor position
Integr8staff seeks a proven Accounts Payable Supervisor for a highly-regarded manufacturing firm in Sacramento, CA.Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor positionResponsible for full cycle accounts payable including two way/three-way matching, invoice processing and check printing.
Lead daily operations of the AP Department and working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely completion of work.
Assigns all AP Team tasks and makes sure they are completed timely and accurately.
Assigns vendors and manages team member workload.
Audits vendor information, statements, payment terms, tax information, remittance information and other miscellaneous data.
Prepares weekly cash requirements reporting.
Partners with internal team members to resolve billing errors.
Verifies discounts, sales and use taxes, and freight charges are processed timely.
Posts AP journals and balances AP Aging to General Ledger.
Delegates and assigns period end tasks.
Oversees period-end accruals and audits entries to verify all invoices are accurately accounted for and expenses are recorded promptly.
Reviews and approves AP Team timecards, schedules, and time off requests.
Empowers direct reports to achieve their personal and professional goals, cultivating a highly motivated team environment.
Prepares, submits, and provides detailed explanations for all AP audit materials.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Requirements of the Accounts Payable Supervisor position Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field, or 10 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting/AP/AR in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced AP department.
Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
Knowledge of AP principles and financial record keeping.
High degree of precision and attentiveness.
Strong math skills and confidence leveraging technology
Effective communication abilities and excellent people skills, both oral and written.
Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office expertise.Updated resume is required for consideration. Only Local candidates will be considered - Position does not offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
