Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Team

VIZIO's Finance & Accounting team is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This candidate will report directly to the Manager, Accounts Payable.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for special projects

• Ensuring that all invoices are reviewed and processed timely and with accuracy.

• Responsible for the coding of vendor invoices and ensuring all check requests and other similar items are properly coded and conform to the Company's standards and procedures.

• Preparing daily invoices and ensuring such invoices are approved by the appropriate approver.

• Assisting with the reconciliation of vendor statements and ensuring that any discrepancies are resolved promptly.

• Evaluate accounts payable and resolve all issues regarding unpaid invoices.

• Attach corresponding purchase orders to invoices that are incoming, along with all supporting documents.

• Investigate and resolve issues that are associated with the processing of purchase orders and invoices.

• Assist with monthly closings and status reports.

• Perform other duties that are needed to support the accounting department.

About You

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for special projects and ensuring the timely and accurate entry of all invoices and vendor information when assigned to. This role is responsible for ensuring that all special projects are completed with due diligent, accuracy and in timely manner.

• A 2 year degree or some relating experience in Accounts Payable

• MS Excel skills

• Must be organized and detailed oriented.

• SAP or xSuite knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to remain focused and multitask in a fast-paced environment performing required duties within specific timelines.

• Great interpersonal skills.

• Resourceful; must be able to think through processes and come to a resolution.

• Strong time management skills.

• Should possess self-management skills and ability to work with limited supervision.

For California-based employment: The minimum pay for this position is $19.23/hr. The maximum pay for this position $25.00/hr. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
