About this Role

As the Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist, you will be responsible for tracking and processing the financial transactions of the company. A successful candidate will be able to interface will all aspects of the company including engineering, sales, and the account management teams to verify theirs payments and invoices are paid in a correct and timely manner.

This is a full-time, exempt position located in our El Segundo headquarters.

Required Skills

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and the resolution of any discrepancies

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

• Respond to external vendors and internal managers in regard to all aspects of the accounts payable process

• Contribute to departmental automation and process improvement projects

• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 1+ years of professional experience in accounts payable, finance, and/or operations experience

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Experience in Microsoft Excel

• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. to conform with U.S Government space technology export regulations under ITAR

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Strong interest in automation and process improvement

• Experience with Microsoft Business Central and/or other ERP accounting systems

• Experience with US GAAP accounting standards

• Experience with processing payments to international vendors in foreign currencies and languages

• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations

Compensation

• Accounts Payable Specialist: $29/hour - $31/hour

• Leveling and base salary is determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance

• You will be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards

• Offer compensation also includes the ability to purchase company stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
