VIEW JOBS 2/26/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-27T00:00 Position: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC About the role: The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager and will be a key contributing member of the Accounts Payable Team. This role's primary focus will be on the core day-to-day AP operations including timely processing of vendor invoices and monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date, as well as employee expense reporting and reimbursements. What you get to do in this role: * Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes for all domestic and international subsidiaries: * Process vendor invoices, approvals, and prepare payments (checks, ACH wires) in NetSuite * Process Employee expense reporting and reimbursements * Vendor maintenance * Request Forms W-9 * Responsible for accurate and timely completion of AP related month-end close tasks, including reconciliation of the AP aging to the General Ledger for all subsidiaries. * Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure the Company's accounts/statements are current and fully reconciled. * Work with vendors and internal customers to resolve accounts payable discrepancies. * Verify the accuracy of invoices and other related accounting documents or records. * Understand and communicate the company spending policies and procedures to Company employees to ensure expenditures are compliant with the Company travel and expense policy. * Maintain and prepare year-end tax reporting (Forms 1099) and assist with annual filing requirements. * Assist with developing appropriate policies and controls for related responsibilities. * Provide support to the accounting teams and with other reporting duties and projects as assigned. * Assist with the annual financial statement audit. * Additional ad-hoc tasks as needed. To be successful in this role, we need someone who has: * 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience. * NetSuite and Concur experience are strongly preferred. * Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced company environment. * Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, work with others, and follow through to execute all tasks at hand. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop, foster, and maintain sound working relationships and to collaborate across functional departments. * Team player attitude. * Self-motivation. * Attention to detail. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience with an international, multi-subsidiary organization and processing of intercompany transactions. * Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * High degree of professionalism, courtesy, and integrity. * BS or BA degree in Accounting or equivalent, or accounting experience, is a plus. #LI-AC1 Intapp Charlotte NC
