Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description Job Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Working within the manufacturing industry, you'll play a pivotal role in managing account coding, operating accounting software systems, and executing various accounting functions.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Conduct auditing operations to ensure the accuracy of all financial data • Employ Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, maintaining accuracy and timeliness • Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions and financial transactions • Oversee account coding procedures, ensuring they align with company standards • Manage Accrual Accounting operations, maintaining a clear and accurate record of all financial activities • Operate Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently • Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions when required.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the manufacturing industry • Proficient in account coding procedures • Familiarity with various accounting software systems • Experience in handling all accounting functions, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) • Solid understanding of accrual accounting principles • Previous experience in auditing • Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Proficiency in QuickBooks software
