Accounts Payable Specialist- Purchasing Card Specialist

Overview

Accounts Payable Specialist, often referred to as AP Specialist, provide financial, administrative, and clerical services and ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations.

• This role is specifically looking for an Entry Level Accounting individual who can excel in the management of our company Purchasing Cards (P-Cards).

Responsibilities

• Review and account for company credit card transactions

• Research and resolve Credit Card discrepancies and issues

• Correspond with employees and respond to inquiries

• Provide supporting documentation for audits

• Other related duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration or 1+ years relative experience

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs

• Experience working in construction is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Long periods of using a computer.

Pay- $ 25.00 - $ 29.00 /Hourly *Depending on Experience
