The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for all aspects of vendor accounts including general ledger coding, timely entry and payment of invoices, timely response to vendor inquiries, maintenance of vendor files, etc. Produce special project reports at the request of Accounting Manager or other management. Operate within a team oriented environment to maximize efficiency and minimize redundancy.

  • Coordinate work flow between Accounts Payable and other departments

  • Maintain, update and submit 1099s to the Internal Revenue Service and vendors

  • Audit, enter and pay all travel / expense reimbursement requests

  • Accurately code, enter, and maintain current open invoices/files

  • Maintain current vendor files including obtaining W-9s and insurance certificates, if necessary

  • Maintain paid invoices files

  • Prepare and process checks and wires for payment on vendors' accounts weekly

  • Maintain and balance current statements with vendors

  • Correspond / communicate with vendors concerning any invoice / payment issues

  • Assist with yearend audit, compliance, and special projects as necessary

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Associates Degree or higher in Accounting, Business Accounting or related field

  • Minimum 2 years' experience performing accounting / business finance functions within an accounting department and/or similar environment

  • Prior Accounts Payable experience in a wholesale manufacturing / distribution organization; international customer / vendor experience a plus

  • Multi-currency experience

  • Familiarity with sales / use tax computations

  • Knowledge of overseas freight processes

The Opportunity: The Director, Key Account Specialists (KASs) is responsible leading a team of Key Account Specialists (KASs). In this role, the Director KAS provides specific and clear direction to the KAS Team in order to define and execute Dova's key account engagement and strategy across assigned Healthcare System Account(s), which includes integrated delivery networks, independent medical groups, accountable care organizations, and provider/payor health systems. As a leader, the Director clarifies and sets objectives that are aligned with Dova strategy to ensure performance targets are exceeded and strategies are executed against well-established plans. Additionally, the Director, Key Account Specialists develops tactics and marketing materials to support the Key Account Specialists working in the field, designed to grow and develop DOPTELET opportunities across indications The Director will provide guidance and coaching in the creation and development of account plans, execution of plans through effective coordination, collaboration and communication among the cross-functional matrix, and the monitoring of account plans to ensure objectives and performance targets are achieved. The Director, Key Account Specialists will report to the Vice President, Market Access and Patient Support. Responsibilities: * Provides strategic direction into the development and alignment of an overall Dova Key Account strategy * Leads the KAS Team in the development of customer-centric account plans, customer interactions, leveraging multidisciplinary capabilities and resource allocation to meet Dova business objectives * Aligns with cross-functional partners to ensure the development and execution of account plans which are consistent with the outlined Dova vision and current market dynamics * Oversees the development, execution, and review of robust Business Account Plans by direct reports * Works with Marketing and cross-functional partners to create approved materials for use by KAS Team * Builds a deep understanding of customer needs and responds in a way that creates respect and credibility. Serve as main point of contact for C-Suite and VP-level administration for Healthcare System Account. Develops and maintains strong relationships with portfolio advocates and key stake holders. * Navigates the external environment, identifies business opportunities, allocates resources and monitors implementation and performance. * Identifies opportunities, trends, barriers, and opportunities within Healthcare System Accounts. * Outlines the key drivers, milestones and critical steps to achieve established national goals and objectives for assigned accounts * Ensure roles, responsibilities and expectations are clearly understood among all internal team members * Coordinates internal communications and account planning meetings to ensure high level account knowledge and insights are integrated into a cohesive Integrated Account Plan * Monitors national/local market conditions for changes that impact business * Understands and thinks creatively about business principles relevant to the Healthcare System Account marketplace.
