Job Overview
The H+H Group is growing! We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist on our Central Support Accounting Team. Here at H+H you'll be at the forefront of innovation, harnessing the latest technology to automate tedious tasks allowing for more time to solve complex problems. (Starting at $20 per/hour)
Perform technical accounting duties such as recording, processing, and reporting of transactions, inventory, revenue, and other functions.
Review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and collaborate with team members.
Put your accounting degree to work! Recent grads and near-grads welcome!
Ensure the timely processing of all payments due by the organization to vendors, individuals, and manufacturers.
Collaborate with managers throughout the organization to obtain invoice approvals in a timely manner.
Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
Research discrepancies between vendor statements and internal schedules.
Contact vendors for missing invoices.
Qualifications
Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
Strong work ethic with an emphasis on integrity, time management, accountability, efficiency, teamwork, and thoroughness.
The ability to analyze and perform complex calculations.
Strong Customer Experience and people skills.
Be knowledgeable of basic accounting and reconciling processes.
Be detailed oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external Customers, in person, over the phone, and via fax or email.
The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
The ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
