Accounts Payable Resolutionist

Do you have at least two years of accounts payable experience? At Advantage Resourcing and our partner company, we have an outstanding opportunity where the roads meet the skies! Our client takes on some of the most challenging assignments in the industry to deliver high-quality support for energy providers, hospitals and air medical organizations, government, and military organizations. We are seeking a motivated individual to fill an Accounts Payable Resolutionist position in Lafayette, LA, to venture into success alongside a team that empowers you every step of the way!

Pay: $18 - 19 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 8 am

• 5 pm, Monday

• Friday

Essential Functions:

• Handle all incoming mail and e-mails sent to AP inbox including distribution and quick review.

• Audit and authorize all invoices processed by the AP team for accuracy, compliance, and payment eligibility.

• Manage open transactions in preparation for month-end close.

• Research and resolve any issues/concerns from vendors and internal parties.

• Maintain a working knowledge of all vendors, processes, projects, ongoing issues, etc. of the AP department to accurately relay information to both internal and external parties as well as monitor the status of tasks.

• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions and working with invoice processors to correct discrepancies.

• Reconcile AP credit cards in Credit Card Management.

• Provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager.

• Perform other related accounting and clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience

• 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience

• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office skills

• High level of attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Well-organized, self-starter, able to multi-task, and deadline-driven
