Introduction Organizational Details:
Barilla America, Inc. wants to recruit an Accounts Payable Operator North America within Finance based in Northbrook, IL. The individual will report to the Administration Manager- Americas.
Reporting directly to the Administration Manager America, the Accounts Paybale Operator North America will be responsible for managing full accounts payable cycle, processing documentation, and coordinating Delivery Center activities for US and Canadian legal entities.
Oversee Accounts Payable processes to ensure payment accuracy (paid on time according to terms).
Maintain Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) targets.
Provide daily transactional communication and coordination between the company and the Delivery Center.
Support local organization with SAP workflow processes.
Provide resolution and/or escalate issues to appropriate business team.
Maintain Accounts Payable records in digital format.
Manage Accounts Payable helpdesk.
Perform monthly Accounts Payable KPI reports (paid on time, invoice processing cycle, etc.).
Provide recommendation to improve efficiencies in the area of responsibility.
Other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years' experience in Accounts Payable and workflow environment
SAP a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
Strong capability to work in teams and build good working relationships
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,)
