Accounts Payable Manager

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee Accounts Payable function for fast-paced Finance Department of growing Fairfield County company. This is a direct hire onsite Monday through Friday 9am-5pm opportunity.

Responsibilities will include: Oversee Accounts Payable function Year-End Reporting Prepare monthly accounts payable accruals Supervise the full cycle accounts payable process and accounts payable team Maintain the accounts payable system Ensuring the monthly accounts payable close Supervise the accounts payable filing Prepare month-end accounts payable accrual entry Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger to general ledger Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger at month end Assign tasks to accounts payable staff Supervise activities of accounts payable staff Ensure that weekly accounts payable postings Evaluate performance of accounts payable team Managing purchase orders and accounts payable process Supervise accounts payable specialists and will process company invoices for payment Prepare accounts payable related balance sheet account reconciliations Prepare monthly reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger to general ledger Prepare all accounts payable checks for signature
