This position provides operational management to the Accounts Payable shared services team who support hotel properties across North America and Canada. This leader will coach and develop the Accounts Payable staff while collaborating within the Procure to Pay team. The Accounts Payable Manager ensures timely and accurate processing of all invoices and payments by instituting best practices. This position actively participates in developing process improvements, and ensuring business process mapping is up to date. The Accounts Payable Manager reports to the Senior Accounts Payable Manager.
Assigns and monitors the daily operations of all accounts payable activity to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met daily resulting in achievement of all Service Level Agreements.
Drives leadership from within the team to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable functions with prioritization of departmental timelines and duties.
Ensures all self-audits are completed in a timely manner.
Manages 1099 and B Notice processes to completion.
Works closely with P2P Leadership Team to implement best practices.
Holds accountability for the work of the Accounts Payable staff including training and ensuring company policies are followed.
Maintains a listing of all compliance requirements for Accounts Payable with associated deadlines and ensures all deadlines are met.
Develops strong relationships with property leaders, internal management teams and external suppliers to ensure needs are met.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Some College Preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years customer-facing work experience in a hospitality or finance environment, 2 3 years' experience in accounts payable, 1 2 years' experience in managing a team.
