Accounts Payable Manager

Within the Finance Department at GA Telesis, the Accounting Team is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join our accounting team. Reporting to the Controller and Assistant Controller the ideal candidate is an experienced accounting specialist with a strong work ethic and a highly creative, energetic professional that thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire accounts payable process

• Manage vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or disputes, ensuring timely and accurate communication with vendors regarding payments and account statuses.

• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.

• Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

• Collaborate with Controller and Assistant Controller on various accounts payable data projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Aviation experience is a plus.

• Must have experience with large invoice volume and processing payments through ACH and wires.

• Experience with large ERP systems and inventory transactions

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Must be able to work efficiently to meet department deadlines
