Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized individual to join our team. At Triumvirate, we have a strong commitment to individual growth, in-depth training, and professional development. While Accounts Payable experience is preferred, we're open to training the right person (must want to learn and develop)!

Essential responsibilities and duties:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail

  • Review vendor invoices, code to the general ledger, and secure approvals

  • Process invoices (PO and non-PO) in a timely manner

  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal clients

  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

  • Assist with month-end closing

  • Reconciliation of vendor statements

  • Perform special projects as directed

Most important responsibility:

  • WOW! Internal and external customers

Required qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field

  • Good operational knowledge of accounts payable processes. At least 1-3 years of accounts payable experience preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work as a team

  • Flexibility and ability to multi-task effectively

  • Strong communication skills

  • Great Plains experience preferred

General Overview Innovation is an 125 person business development unit of Partners HealthCare responsible charged with the worldwide commercial application of the unique capabilities and discoveries of its 74,000 employees and faculty. Principal Duties and Responsibilities * Receive, review and process departmental legal invoices in a timely manner to ensure compliance with preferred vendor payment terms. * Written communication to Patent law firms and academic institutions regarding billing discrepancies, electronic billing, direct billing issues and new matter set ups * Create and submit direct billing instructions to Patent law firms and licensees and update the database with terms. * Ability to reconcile IP expenses submitted by law firm or academic institutions against IP records entered in database. * Provide monthly statistical reporting on expenses received, paid and outstanding. * Provide a list of outstanding bills in preparation for monthly patent accruals. * Special projects as assigned. 1. College Degree preferred. Accounting background preferred. 2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Highly organized with demonstrated ability to establish priorities. 3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, and written correspondence). 4. Flexibility and ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently and ability to act cooperatively with many individuals internally and externally. Strong quantitative analytical skills. 5.
