SAFEbuilt is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the overall goals and objectives of the Accounting department. Candidate should have strong accounts payable experience, as well as overall accounting knowledge. You will be part of a highly professional accounting team in our corporate office in Loveland.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives, verifies, and processes invoices daily via Beanworks AP Automation (100-250 invoices/week)

• Receives, researches, and responds to payment inquiries and other requests from vendors via Outlook

• Assists with Administration of Company Credit Card Program

• Maintains Accounts Payable Credit Card (coding, gathering of receipts)

• Process occasional Sage Intacct manual checks and ships via FedEx

• Process payments weekly via Beanworks AP Automation/REPAY

• Provides weekly listing of payments to Accounting Manager

• Enters new vendors in Sage Intacct and maintains vendor accounts

• Manages shared Accounts Payable and Credit card emails

• Processes and posts manual checks for all ACH transactions in Sage Intacct

• Creates and posts A/P expense accrual during accounting close

• Assists Accounting Manager with occasional projects

• Retrieves and scans paper invoices from Loveland office

• Assists with 1099 preparation at year-end

• Provides A/P backup as requested during audit

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Experience with standard Microsoft programs

• Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint - and ability to learn new software products and tools (high proficiency in Excel a plus)

• Prior experience with Sage Intacct and Beanworks A/P Automation a plus

• Excellent time management skills

• Must be flexible and very open to change

• Attention to detail and proactive positive attitude

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of related accounts payable experience

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $65,000
