Karya Property Management is looking for a skilled accounts payable clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresResponding to vendor and property staff inquiriesPrepare account analysis reportsPay vendors Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables dataPrepare bills, invoices and bank depositsReconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients billing issuesFacilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clientsGenerate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
RequirementsMinimum of 1 year proven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwarePreferred experience with Realpage, Quickbooks, Appfolio, Positivepay, and/or AdobeProficiency in English and in MS OfficeCustomer service orientation and negotiation skillsDetail oriented and ability to multitaskBS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationExperience in the Property Management industry is strongly preferred, but not a requirement.
Salary range will depend on experience with PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, & Basic Life Insurance.
