Accounts Payable Clerk

What you'll do…

This position is responsible for processing accounts payable according to company policies in accordance within the established financial reporting cycles. The role will be responsible for ensuring the accounts payable processes are maintained to ensure invoices are recorded accurately and timely and vendors receive accurate and timely payments. This position is located at our corporate office in Southfield, MI and requires a presence in the office 4 days a week, with 1 remote day.

What you'll bring to the team…

• Work with office staff and other PSC departments to ensure all invoices are properly coded and approved

• Ensure accurate data entry of all approved invoices

• Work with finance department GL team members to ensure completeness and accuracy of accrued invoices

• Maintain accounts payable files

• Reconcile vendor statements

• Other accounts payable or administrative tasks as requested by direct Manager

What we require you have…

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• 2-3 years' experience in accounts payable

• High level of detail orientation and organizational skills

• Basic math and analytical abilities

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and accounts payable systems

• Strong 10 key skills with data entry accuracy track record

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and professionally in a high volume environment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of accounting information
