Accounts Payable Clerk at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center

• Trophy Club:

• The Accounts Payable Clerk/Material Management Asst. is responsible for the processing of all invoices and the payment process.

• This position will also assist with procurement for supplies in the hospital with the exception of food and drugs.

• The first responsibility of the position will be the Account Payable but will also include cross training for the ordering of supplies and all that is involved in the Materials Management department.

• Special projects as assigned by management.

• Assist with the quarterly inventory process, aid in maintaining the Cerner database system.

Required Skills:

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Specific Job Experience:

• Two years minimum purchasing experience in a health care environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Customer Service

• Type minimum of 40 wpm preferred

• Computer experience helpful

• Able to deal tactfully with public and other staff members

• Must possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
