Accounts Payable Clerk

Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This full-time non-exempt position processes and handles accounts payable financial transactions for the school, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, reimbursements and check processing.

The accounts payable clerk maintains strong relationships with both vendors and customers. Acts as a backup to the receptionist and assists with other administrative duties when required. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as an accounts payable clerk in a high-volume environment.

Strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required. Must have experience in account reconciliation and accounting software. Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love.
