The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Monterey, California area and will be a long term temporary position. Your responsibilities

  • Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

  • Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

  • Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

  • Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

  • Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

  • Carry out additional projects as required

  • Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling

  • Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Fullfill full-cycle A/P


  • Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Microsoft Great Plains Accounting experience desired

  • Command of accounts payable

  • 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 Position Objective: This position utilizes expertise in Army Maintenance to compile and record production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production. MOS 92Y or 92A working as motor pool production control clerk experience preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: * Performs all aspects of managing, maintaining, ordering, reordering, adjusting and inventorying Bench/Shop Stock. * Perform all aspects of managing the required repair parts necessary using processes within the applicable LIS. * Manage the Army Owned Vehicle Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) Program. * Oversees the dispatching and scheduling of Army Owned Vehicles. * Coordinates repair schedules with customers/repair facilities and ensures timely completion of repairs through proper scheduling and follow‐ups. * Serves as Subject Matter Expert on Army Maintenance Processes * Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma * 10 years of experience performing production control in a maintenance environment * Confidential/NACLC Clearance Minimum Qualifications: * Must possess detailed knowledge on Army Maintenance Processes * Must have experience working Army maintenance production contract requirements * Must possess operational skill and knowledge of the relevant Logistics Information Systems to include Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS‐A) * and Army repair parts processes and procedures. * Must have experience with financial management and knowledge of Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS). * Must have experience with research Army logistics systems to determine status and corrective action requirements. * Must possess broad knowledge of Army l Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) Program. * Must have knowledge of Safety standards and general experience in dealing with environmental issues. * Must have strong communication skills, skilled in anticipating customer demands, ability to be flexible and adapt to changes, and must possess strong leadership skills. * Experience in ISO procedures VPP/safety operations and quality management preferred * Must be able to lift 50 pounds. * Must be able to work in all weather conditions. * May be required to stand for long periods of time.
