Looking to break into the Service industry? Accountemps has a short term temporary position available for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk will resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. As the role progresses, more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Norwell, Massachusetts area and will be a short term temporary position. Your responsibilities

  • Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

  • Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

  • Operate full-cycle A/P

  • Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

  • Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

  • Provide customer service to internal business partners

  • Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

  • Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Proven knowledge of accounts receivable

  • Credit collections experience

  • Commercial credit experience

  • Commercial collections experience required

  • Proficiency in credit collections

VIEW JOBS 12/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-08T00:00 The Data Entry Clerk is responsible to prioritize daily workflow and maintain speed and accuracy of data entered, to identify problems and communicate with manager to resolve issues, to follow up on problems, to ensure that they are resolved, and to work closely with department personnel to ensure that correct and complete information is captured for all entries. This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week.
