REEDS currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable Associate. This position is located in the home office in Wilmington, NC and is responsible for processing and providing assistance with the accurate, efficient, timely preparation of company payables.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately reviewing and processing of Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Processing payments accurately and timely.
  • Continuously monitoring the status of payables to ensure timely processing.
  • Ensuring the highest integrity by properly communicating courteous assistance on the status of payables.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key vendors.
  • Communicating with vendors to ensure accurate payments and credits.
  • Researching, reviewing and preparing detailed analysis of vendor and store accounts to ensure accuracy of payments and credits as directed by Management.
  • Accurate monthly reconciliation of assigned vendor accounts.
  • Researching and reviewing accounts payable detail.
  • Supporting the entire corporate accounting team by clerical support (reports), problem solving and servicing store teams.
  • Conducting business affairs in a legal and ethical manner, building a socially conscious environment.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Computer proficient; Microsoft Office, AS400 and Workday or similar expense management platform

Basic bookkeeping knowledge and experience required

Accounts Payable experience preferred

Must be multi-task and detail oriented

Proven written, verbal, and communication skills

Must be organized and able to work as a team associate

This position receives incoming enrollment data, conducts data review, and completes necessary edits, management of the visit payment process for all assigned clinical trials and ensuring site satisfaction. Summary of Essential Job Functions ➢ Primary focus is the Amendment processing ➢ Acts as a Sr. team member in the transition of Amendments from Operations to Data Ops ➢ Acts as escalation point for open issues from the site ➢ Understands requirements for data cleansing and integration. ➢ Understands customer's data requirements and works to insure timely processing of clean data files. ➢ Responsible for processing data for new and transition studies. ➢ Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement to the immediate supervisor ➢ Understands and applies quality standards for all integration projects. ➢ Reconciles monthly/quarterly files for accuracy, identifies, reports and addresses any exceptions ➢ Responsible for ensuring receipt and reconciliation of all data files ➢ Understands SSAE 16 compliance and ensures compliance as appropriate ➢ Assist in establishing study EDC data structure to ensure integrity ➢ Responsible for data integrity of contract terms as it is entered into designated systems in accordance with project requirements ➢ Site close out reconciliation upon study close out ➢ Manages ongoing edits and updates of applicable site specific information in database for accurate aggregate spend reporting ➢ Assist in the preparation of project status reports that are reviewed with the client during project team meetings ➢ Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
