Job Responsibilities

The Tri-County Technical College Fiscal Affairs Department invites applicants to the role of Accounts Payable Assistant: Part-Time.

In this part-time role, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, high volume, open office environment. Working with the Accounts Payable Technician, the Accounts Payable Assistant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable Department. These duties may include but are not limited to data entry, document scanning, record retention and additional Accounting/Finance related duties as assigned.

During peak seasons the Accounts Payable Assistant may help/aid other Fiscal Affairs departments such as Purchasing, Accounts Receivables, and the Business Office. The successful candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail skills, and previous experience working in systems such as Microsoft Excel.

The Accounts Payable Assistant: Part-Time role is not eligible for employee health and wellness benefits. This position may work up to 25 hours per week.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High School diploma or GED and one year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher, the ability to work independently, and previous experience with Accounting software/systems.
