Accounts Payable Analyst Location: Loveland, Colorado (Hybrid:
Up to 3 days) Job Type: 1-Year Contract Pay rate: $23-$25/hour (depending on experience) We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our client. The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day delivery of escalated accounts payable issues, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide tier 2 level support. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Analyst: Resolve escalated accounts payable issues in coordination with various stakeholders. Coordinate check runs, including weekly and emergency check runs.
Process special handling requests and manage mail. Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily bank exceptions and control totals. Report and manage bounce-backs and exceptions.
Monitor and respond to service requests and incidents in a timely manner. Adhere to internal KPIs and SLAs. Understand process flows and interactions within the accounts payable function.
Perform other job responsibilities as required by management. Minimum Qualifications of an Accounts Payable Analyst: High school diploma.
An associate degree or higher is preferred. 2-5 years of accounts payable experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, specifically in accounts payable and payments processes. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with large ERP systems is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality.
