Summary/Objective

The Accounts Payable Administrator will be responsible for assisting the Shared Services Group on a range of general accounting tasks. This role will be primarily responsible for all accounting work associated with processing vendor invoices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 3-way match, batch and code invoices in single system.

  • Ensure proper internal controls by gaining appropriate approvals for transactions.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and respond timely to vendor inquiries.

  • Resolving accounts payable issues with vendors.

  • Respond timely to all audit document requests.

  • Build relationships with vendors, plants, accountants and leadership team.

  • Contribute to the positive Lippert Culture.

  • Assist in the discovery, testing and implementation of technology changes.

  • Assists in the maintenance of training manuals.

  • Additional functions may be assigned as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.

  • May sit for several hours at a time.

  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.

  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ administrative experience.

  • Understand vendor change request policies.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is occasionally required.

Local travel is expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Manufacturing/industry experience.

  • Management/leadership experience.

  • Accounts payable experience.

  • D365 Finance and Operations is a plus but not required.

The Accounts Payable Clerk may have access to confidential information regarding LCI, its suppliers and customers.
