Job Description and Duties

ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN: Hybrid Telework Option

Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify.

Under close supervision of the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the incumbent performs technical and semi-professional accounting work in the maintenance and reporting of financial records for specialized agency activities in the Tax and Securities Unit within the Revenue Section in the Financial and Business Management Division - Accounting Services Bureau. The incumbent is primarily responsible for processing, logging, maintaining, and review of tax returns and associated transaction requests.

Working Conditions
