Position Summary

This position is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, enterprise billing, and bank reconciliation in addition to other accounting functions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Reviews accounts payable invoices, assigns vendor numbers, and confirms accounting coding, and prepares checks for payment

• Contacts vendors to assist in collection for outstanding invoices

• Research accounting issues using available information resources

• Customer service to fulfill the "Help Desk" role for our customers billing inquiries

• Accurately assigns account coding to invoices and receipts

• Assists with bank reconciliations

• Credit card reconciliation and payment

• Handles weekly bank deposits

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in providing outstanding customer service

• Strong organization, documentation, and time management skills

• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills

• Ability to plan and organize a daily work schedule

• Ability to follow verbal and written directions

• Ability to lift, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds

Position Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• One-year general accounting experience required, or equivalent training program, education, and experience combination may be considered to meet requirements.

Physical Requirements:

This position will work primarily in an office environment requiring a full range of motion including standing, walking, bending, and twisting as necessary. This position will spend a significant amount of time using a computer requiring visual acuity, color definition, and dexterity in fingers/hands. This position may at times require employees to transition between interior workspaces including but not limited to exposure to the elements and walking on uneven ground.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an indoor setting at the REACH office. Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Conditions of Employment

Must pass the pre-employment background check and maintain the ability to pass throughout employment with REACH.

Must complete Blood Borne Pathogens and HIPAA training within 30 days of employment.
