What you will be doing:

Position is responsible for the timely processing of accounts payable, travel, and PCard transactions.

The working environment you can expect:

This job is offered in Juneau and Anchorage with an option of a hybrid telework schedule. Our offices are beautiful, modern, and are centrally located in the Atwood Building and the Juneau State Office Building.

Substitutions:

Successful completion of a formal vocational education program in accounting or bookkeeping will substitute for the required experience.

Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month). At time of interview, please provide the following:

  • Three (3) professional references, one (1) of which must be a current or former supervisor, including name, job, title, employer, and current phone numbers.
  • A copy of your last three performance evaluations, or two (2) letters of reference, if evaluations are unavailable.
  • A copy of academic transcripts (unofficial are okay; please ensure that the institution name/URL is listed on the transcripts) is used to verify that you meet the minimum qualifications. These can also be attached to your application at the time of submission.
