The Accounting Support Specialists work with IQMS clients and team members at every level in the ongoing support of our EnterpriseIQ ERP software at clients' sites throughout North America and the world. These individuals apply extensive knowledge of core ERP system functionality and their specific team focus, as well as basic understanding of all areas of the software. Successful candidates demonstrate excellent organization and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to others.
Based on education, experience and knowledge applicable specifically to this area, exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance pertaining to the business operations of IQMS customers.
Required Proficiencies, Background & Education:
Some college or advanced education in accounting and 1-2 years related work experience in accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of accounting principles, including AP, AR, and GL
Successful experience with customer service/support via telephone, email and web
Must be detailed oriented with the ability to adjust in a dynamic environment
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Excellent communication, time management and teamwork skills
Must be a self-motivated team player who likes responsibility
Solid understanding of Windows desktop applications and Microsoft Operating Systems
Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers and associates at all levels
Strong analytical skills
Job Responsibilities (all areas):
Respond to inquiries, technical questions, or complaints
Additional job duties as assigned
Receive and resolve incoming customer questions and problems via phone and email through their knowledge of the software, trouble-shooting, and problem solving
Escalate higher level customer issues to appropriate personnel
Escalate software enhancement requests as directed
Maintaining proprietary customer relationship management software by logging all correspondence regarding customer issues
Participate in assigned customer implementation teams and provide weekly reports as needed
Experience working at any level of accounting, from staff bookkeeping through controller is preferred
Knowledge of payroll, time and attendance, cost accounting, and GAAP is preferred
Experience with any accounting software systems is preferred
Multi-lingual is a plus (Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Swedish, Chinese Simplified or Traditional)
Experience with ERP Systems (EnterpriseIQ a plus)
Knowledge of Crystal Report writing a plus
This is a full-time salaried position based at our Paso Robles, CA office, reporting to the Accounting Support Supervisor. This position includes standard IQMS medical/dental/vision and 401k benefits package.
