Accounting Supervisor

Job Description Job Description Lake Huron Credit Union is seeking an accounting supervisor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful and accurate completion of accounting functions and duties.

This person will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, team player with a positive attitude. The person selected will be the liaison with auditors, examiners and vendors. This position will oversee the general ledger including balancing, month end accruals, daily reconciliations and settlements, cash flow analysis, general ledger postings, wire transfers, assist the CFO with special projects.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the banking/finance industry. Demonstrated leadership experience, the ability to keep up with a busy work flow, excellent software skills including Excel, and a proven record of accurately meeting all deadlines in compliance with all regulatory requirements are also essential.
