What will I be doing?
As an Accounting Intern you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Perform the full cycle of accounting activities related to the production of financial statements, including creating journal entries and analyzing financial results.
Ensure that all deadlines are met and all deliverables are completed with a high quality product.
Partner with operational departments to ensure contracts are processed effectively, for appropriate revenue recognition.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations related to assigned area of responsibility. Ensure all schedules are completed timely and efficiently.
Verify that all reconciling items are researched and resolved promptly.
Identify opportunities for improvements by reviewing current processes for automation, consolidation or re-engineering.

High School Diploma
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university majoring in Accounting
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Analytical team player, self-motivated and a self-starter
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Previous accounting internship or work experience
Public accounting experience
Oracle HCM software experience
Completed junior year
Strong organizational skills in a fluid, entrepreneurial corporate environment
Previous hospitality or timeshare internship or work experience
