Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to work with the Finance Team on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, month close journal entries, internal department monthly reports, grant reporting along with management of cash receipts, credit cards and gift card donations.
Essential Functions:
Accounts receivable, process payments and bank reconciliation
Works in conjunction with Investments and Partnerships to properly record donations and to reconcile all donations between the Development database and the accounting system
Prepares cash bank deposits and scans deposits electronically as needed
Responsible for weekly and monthly department reports
Assist with grant reporting
Assist with annual financial audit
Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions
Provides financial analysis as needed
Participates and prepares materials for the Finance Team weekly meeting
Other duties as assigned to assure successful operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
Exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Able to work with all agency employees, managers, leadership members, external contacts as well as independently
Must have intermediary skill set with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Excel

Access to reliable transportation
