Full Time, Non-Exempt
The function of this position serves in a cross-functional role in some of the accounting functions; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and other finance functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs basic troubleshooting to reconcile account balances
Make inquiries to obtain missing information or verify data accuracy to complete transactions
Works relatively independent but in a team environment
Perform a variety of accounting tasks involved in processing data
Create and distribute assigned daily system reports to appropriate company personnel
Assist accounting staff with special projects as assigned
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and organize work
Ability to perform analysis, comparisons and review transactions in order to identify and correct discrepancies
Adept at data entry functions enter and retrieve information with reasonable speed and accuracy
Able to maintain focus despite numerous interruptions
Able to work independently without supervision
Able to think of better ways to improve processes
A desire to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
Education, Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles and practices general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable
2 to 5 years of accounting experience using computerized accounting software
Experience with data entry, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required
Safety training is required and provided by the Company in accordance with applicable laws, industry standards and Company policy
