Accounting Specialist

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist in its Memphis office. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to processing and monitoring incoming client payments by verifying and posting receipts, managing and handling of invoices and expenses within accounting software, and establishing contact with new and existing vendors.

Candidate will be cross-trained on general ledger entry, disbursement entry and handle other job-related duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager. Candidate should possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills as well as computer experience with knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel. All applicants should have an aptitude for detail; the ability to work efficiently, and to work under pressure with or without direct supervision.

Each candidate must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time. Candidate must be flexible, have regular attendance and be willing to work overtime if necessary. The salary for the position is $45,000/year.
