Birmingham start-up company located on 280 is looking for an Accounting Specialist to start work immediately. Accounting Specialist will be responsible for account reconciliations, accounts payable and some accounts receivable.
Other responsibilities will include: forecasting, P L balance sheets and budgeting The ideal Accounting Specialist will have 3+ years experience in accounting and a Bachelor's degree in a related business field. Must have experience working with QuickBooks. Strong communication skills needed.
The Accounting Specialist will communicate with contractors to resolve any accounts payable questions or issues as well as setting up new vendors. This person will work closely with the CPA firm to assist with audits and close. This is a temporary to full-time opportunity that offers great growth potential within this expanding company.
