Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Accounting Services Representative. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for handling the accounts payable process; cash management; and maintaining other various accounting records.
This is a full-time (40 hours a week), 12-month position.
Summary of Duties:
Monitor aging of outstanding purchase orders
Prepare daily bank deposits; monitor and reconcile accounts
Process annuity and trust payments; sales tax payments
Process invoices; purchase orders/check requests; credit card transactions
Perform General Ledger journal entries
Prepare 1099 forms and donation receipts
Maintain documentation on bank wires or fund transfers
Audit University petty cash accounts
Assist with student registrations
Bachelor's degree required; experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Minimum two years related Accounts Payable experience preferred
Experience in accounting software applications helpful
Active member of the church of Christ
