Accounting Services Clerk-Dealer Billing

Essential Functions:

Prepare timely and accurate billing for product shipments from all manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Distribute customers invoices for products shipped

• Review invoices for accuracy

• Make necessary corrections

• Mail out invoices to customers, that are not auto emailed

• Receive in all BOL's for company, separate BOL's by clean and BOL's with needed adjustments written on them. Scan into copier and save all BOL's and rename to be saved on a folder in the Distributor Billing Drive.

• Process all over/ shorts / damage adjustments and miscellaneous invoices for all customers

• Review Bill of Ladings for adjustments

• Obtain necessary approvals for adjustments

• Process approved miscellaneous Invoices

• Process Non-Central Billed Tier Credits (both manual tiers and tier credits) which come from Dealer Billed Performance Based Error Reports for said dealers

• Review and analyze daily, weekly, and month end reports

• Review daily reports and make corrections to ensure sales orders are entered correctly in JD Edwards.

• Handle monthly verification process for distributors involved in the Returnable Carton Program.

• Calculate and process all monthly pay-out checks and credits for dealers.

• Process monthly analysis (graphs) for distributor billing personnel showing items entered and percentage of errors made.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma

• 1 year billing/payroll experience

• Strong analytical, detail orientation, written and oral abilities required.

• Must have PC, Excel, Word, and ten key calculator experience.
