We are hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing Corporate Accounting department.

This position is expected to lead the daily operations of the corporate accounting team and will be responsible for month-end close, audit support, balance sheet reconciliations, collaborating and reporting results to stakeholders, identifying and implementing process improvements, and developing the corporate accounting team.

A successful candidate will have strong accounting and financial statement acumen. Applicant should be self-motivated, agile, and able to drive to change. This position can be worked out of any of the following Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS, Springfield, MO, or Allen, TX.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting.

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of Supervisor or Manager leadership experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters' degree
  • CPA Certification

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.

  • Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.

  • Participates in annual audits and special projects.

  • Reviews P&L and SOP at a consolidated level and a detail level.

  • Acts as the accounting liaison to operations.

  • Assists operations managers with financial processes and procedures; collaborate with operations managers to complete their budgeting and forecasting processes, including meeting with Executives.

  • Responsible for regulatory reporting and compliance issues and research.

  • Ensure SEC reporting is completed accurately and timely in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures.

  • Ensures area of responsibility is in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).

  • May work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
