Accounting Professional Come join the industrys leading manufacturer and distributor of floor coatings and cleaning solutions Hillyard Inc is currently taking applications for an Accounting Professional The individual in this position will be based out of St Joseph MO Hillyard is a family owned company founded in 1907 Our continued growth and expansion across the country is the result of our ongoing commitment to providing key resources that helps our customers achieve clean safe and healthy facilities at the lowest total cost We grow leaders Hillyard hires the best and brightest from all industries In this position you can expect to work in a fast paced and professional environment where you will be surrounded by team members that challenge growth and focus on success We are seeking an Accounting Professional that will prepare analyzes and review financial information using accounting principles Maintains records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities Areas of focus for the position will include medical plans vehicle fleet administration capital assets and miscellaneous accounting responsibilities Analyze key areas of medical plan including funding analysis and year end closing entries

Administration and accounting of leased corporate vehicle fleet

Capital asset administration and accounting functions

Reconciliation and follow through on multiple key GL accounts

Innovative use of data bases in carrying out essential functions

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required 4 years experience in Accounting Experience in using data bases in leveraging Excel Pivot Tables SAGE fixed asset application is preferred as well as experience with Power BIProficient in the use of Word and communication through Microsoft Outlook or TeamsMust be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to effectively present information respond to questions from both internal external customers of varied organization levels and challenge concerns
