GVS is currently recruiting the following position: Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Accounts Payable, includes processing invoices, following up with vendors and resolving discrepancies

• Process weekly check run

• Filing and Records retention

• Assist the Controller with day-to day, monthly and year-end tasks of the department

• Perform the processing of monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation and recording of journal entries

• Review entered expenses for discrepancies and inconsistencies compared to budget

• Review invoices for cost variances and accuracy

• Preform general account analysis and reconciliations

• Seek and implement continuous improvements

• Misc. data entry as needed Experience/technical skills required include:

• Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree Finance /Accounting

• Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payable and supplier communication

• Detail oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word– Previous Experience with Microsoft GP is a plus

• Enhanced verbal and interpersonal communication skills
