Accounting Operations Specialist II

System One is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist II to oversee accounting operations within our client’s Electrical Distribution Operations organization. Responsibilities: Coordinate work order transfers to allocate expenses correctly.

Collaborate with teams to gather information and reconcile data. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and internal policies. Support financial reporting and analysis with accurate data.

Prioritize tasks based on deadlines and organizational priorities. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Gather, analyze, submit, and monitor journal entries and reclasses.

Manage end-to-end accounting processes for Distribution Operations. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, particularly in distinguishing between Capital and Operations & Maintenance work. Requirements: 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably with data entry and analytics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s. Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Project Location: Denver, CO 80227 Contract Duration: 12-months Pay Rate: $40.00 / HR M1
