  • Support various aspects of the accounting and reporting processes by collaborating with team mates to close, prepare, review, and analyze financial results and statements.• Develop and manage the companies' budget and forecasting processes. Provide monthly financial forecasting to support the strategic plan.• Possess an aptitude to make sound business decisions regarding high level finance/accounting initiatives.• Proven track record of solving complex problems either through automated solutions and/or process changes.• Ability to identify areas of opportunity and implement specific action plans to improve all aspects of the finance/accounting department goals.• Recognizes issues and challenges and presents them to management in a professional manner which includes solutions.• Develops workflow processes that are key drivers for the business.• Ability to develop complex change management initiatives.• Ability to plan and lead highly effective meetings and follow through with resolutions.• Mentors and coach, a team of accounting professionals.• Active listener who provides focused feedback using a consultative approach• Lead the team in addressing audit review concerns, internal controls, and SOX Compliance• Contributes to the overall morale of the Company with positive attitude and professional manner

Qualifications

  • Accounting/Finance Degree and/or equivalent work experience • Industry experience is a plus but not required.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and/or external stakeholders:• Strong oral/written communication skills with a positive attitude.• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. • Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work in fast-paced team environment.• A focus on delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers• Very Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;• Energetic, resourceful, strong analytical skills, with the ability to execute tasks through to resolution
