We'll be looking to you to manage the planning and direction of departmental activities related to general accounting functions and the preparation of financial and regulatory reports. You will be responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the ledger accounts and financial statements in compliance with company and GAAP standards.

You'll oversee the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs supporting the finance organization. You will formulate and direct the administration of approved accounting practices. You'll manage the month-end close activities for assigned entities and accounts and coordinate the reviews of monthly financials of assigned international entities.

You'll assist in the preparation of standalone financials and audits for international entities and manage the translation and consolidation process of foreign financials into Western Union financials. You will direct or assist in accounting projects.

For such a detail-oriented role, you will be degree educated in accounting, with progress towards or achieving a CPA a plus. You will have 5 years of experience in financial accounting with strong proficiency in US GAAP.

Familiarity working in a complex, multi-currency accounting environment is preferred. You are expected to be a good communicator who can manage workloads and get the best out of a team. Your track record should demonstrate analytic thinking and being comfortable handling large amounts of data.

Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and/ or HFM is a plus. Previous experience with agile working methodologies is also desirable.

The annual gross base salary range is $81,813.04 -$144,116.36. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The role is much more about determining how to characterize complex transactions on our financial statements, and less about bookkeeping. It also requires the ability to work in a fast paced environment and exercise key analytical & business process skills.</p><p><strong>ABOUT SOLRIVER CAPITAL</strong></p><p>SolRiver Capital is a rapidly growing <a href="" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external">solar investment fund</a> focused on acquiring and operating distributed generation and utility scale projects. Founded in 2016 by solar and storage finance experts, SolRiver utilizes an innovative yet disciplined investment approach to acquire clean energy assets across the country. We began with a single $3MM system, and four years later we have projects in 8 different states, with $200MM to deploy over the next twelve months.
