Job Description Job Description Direct Reports: A/R Specialist, A/P Specialist, AP/AR Clerk, Staff Accountant Key contacts:

A/R, A/P, Staff Accountant, Financial Controller, Commercial Director, CFO, Operations team including Production Control, Engineering and R&D, Sales team, Customer Service and Field service. Key Accountabilities Complete Month-end financial close tasks following a checklist, target business day 8. Provide accurate and timely monthly reports.

Manage and supervise accounting staff. Corporate credit card and travel account reconciliations. Monitor and evaluate team performance, lead by example.

Develop team with continuous improvement mindset. Key Duties and Responsibilities Guides, counsels, trains, mentors, motivates, and supports the Accounting staff. Acts as back-up during their absence.

Prepare journal entries for entry into the GL monthly by collecting necessary data, analysing and/or allocating costs and preparing audit trail support for the journal entries. Work with global entity finance individuals to support generating monthly and year end reports. Reconcile intercompany accounts with related entities; verify and journalize recharges.

Help maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Verify correct cost and capitalization of FA in register. Calculate depreciation and provide cost information on fixed asset acquisitions and disposals.

Reconcile inventory accounts and provide variance analysis on outstanding issues. Supervisory Responsibilities Lead the accounting staff in successfully closing out monthly financial cycles. Review and approve timesheets for accounting staff.

Implements and enforces policies, procedures, and standards in conjunction with management. Provides conflict resolution and corrective action when necessary. Sets guidelines, monitors progress, and conducts employee performance reviews.

Works with individual team members on development and performance objectives.
