Job Description Job Description Accounting Manager Pompano Beach, FL $90K 10% bonus, plus Benefits & PTO- 401K Growth Potential Responsibilities: Oversee the monthly close process and the preparation of financial reports.
Manage general ledger functions, including the creation and posting of journal entries, conduct monthly reconciliations, and ensure adherence to company policies. Verify and approve payroll registers for accurate financial and tax reporting. Prepare and distribute monthly financial.
Assist the VP of Finance in developing the annual budget and conducting related analyses. Enhance working capital performance by directly managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Develop and track an annual cycle count plan.
Oversee and manage the corporate expense card program. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including GAAP, SOX, FARs, and other relevant policies, and assist with internal and external audit requests. Conduct ad hoc analyses and fulfill other requests as needed.
Uphold and advocate for the company's values and principles in everyday activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. At least 4 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance.
Supervisory experience preferred. Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Sage 100 is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written. Ability to make independent decisions on routine office activities.
